Her Story
I met Homer at my first Barkada (Filipino Cultural Club) meeting at American University in the basement of Kay Spiritual Life Center in 2001. He had huge glasses and a very friendly and comical personality. Our friendship grew through the many cycles of Barkada Cultural Shows, Anime Conventions, Renaissance Fairs and other social activities. We saw each other through thick and thin, laughter and tears, and hardships and adventures. The many good memories we cherish is a testament of our friendship that had blossomed over the years into the relationship that brought us here today.

His Story
I met Nina at her first Barkada meeting....which was my 843rd. She was one of the cute additions to the Barkada family, but was dating someone already. An adventurous, social and kindred spirit, she and I hit it off as friends very quickly. Several girlfriends and boyfriends later, we found ourselves single at the same time, and had a very naughty kiss. End of story.
